The 17 and January 18 will be presented to the town the statues of the Mysteries of Holy Saturday in Molfetta.

The restoration was authorized and supervised by the Superintendence for the Historical Artistic and Ethno-anthropological Heritage of Bari Work was accompanied by technical reports and an impressive photo gallery that shows step by step the progress of the intervention: to eliminate the pest control agents of biological degradation, the rate of surface, scanning to detect the nuances and the cleaning.

will be presented Jan. 17 all eight statues of the Mysteries of the arch of Death Molfetta marching in procession on Holy Saturday through the streets of the city. This is a restoration that lasted nearly six months by the "Studio of Art and Restoration" by Valerie and Joseph Iaccarino Gypsy of Andria. This project has been asked to identify restorers, prof. Gaetano Mongelli, Professor of History at the University of Bari, among the best experts of the statues of Cozzoli.

The cost of the work amounts to € 26 thousand, 5 thousand donated anonymously by a brother and the rest by private individuals found through the good offices of the mayor and brother Sen. Antonio Azzollini.

The wishes of this Blog, and all the sick of the Holy Week of Taranto, for this very important moment, go to the tireless Prior Franco Stanzione, whom I thank for the invitation, and all the brothers together with the arch of Death all "set" of Molfetta.
